Schlauch Rubber Inner Tube Belt

From what I can tell this belt looks like is made from a rubber hose or a bicyle inner tube, the site selling this is in german so it is hard to tell. Either way it is a pretty cool way of holding your trousers up.

Mynx - I'm So L.A

Mynx are a new synth punk cabaret outfit who have been have been described as the electro Sonny and Cher, which I don't quite understand as there are three of them but nevermind. They come from LA and their first single "I'm So L.A" is dedicated to all the trashy wannabees that make their home there.

Marware iPod Nano Stand

One of the few disappointing things about the iPod Nano is that it did not come with a stand. Well Marware have solved that problem by coming up with this very sleek and curvy looking stand which does everything you would expect ie. charge the ipod, transfer music etc. And it will only cost £15.

Hacienda Classics Mixed By Peter Hook

I don't know what took them so long to come up with this idea. Every club, dj and his uncle has released a compilation and most of them are not worth a second listen. Therefore a CD that is based on one of the most iconic and important UK clubs of the 80s/90s mixed by a member of New Order is long overdue. Hacienda Classics contains 3CDs full of classic house tunes, more than enough to send you back to your raving days.

Not only does this helmet from BMW look the dogs bollocks but it is also packed with tech. It comes equipped with a built in microphone and Bluetooth which means that you can make and receive phone calls and can listen to MP3s from a Bluetooth enabled mobile.

The Rumble Strips On Tour

The Rumble Strips are a new band that sound pretty much like no one else around at the moment, about the closest comparison you could make is with Dexy's Midnight Runners - which is no bad thing. They have recently got good write ups of their performance at South By Southwest from The Sun and Pitchfork Media and are touring round the UK at the moment.

It is about the the thinking that happens in the blink of an eye when you first encounter something. Those immediate decisions are often found to be extremely insightful and this book explores how that can be.

Fifty Years Of Mr Diesel


Diesel have released a lavish coffee table book to celebrate fifty years of founder Renzo Rosso. The books sums up the Diesel attitude and approach to life and has some great photos of the products over the years. My personal favourite Diesel object are the Elvis inspired sunglasses shown above.

Adidas Launch Adicolour


Adidas have just launches the first offering of the much anticipated adicolor collection which includes the W1, a limited edition A-15 'Consortium' leather jacket. Each jacket is housed in a collectable wooden artist's case and comes complete with paints, palette and brushes. The A-15 is released to a strict worldwide release of 500 pieces and is priced at £415.

iPod HiFi In Shops For £249


I guess it was only a matter of time before Apple decided to challenge Bose and all the other companies selling iPod docks. The iPod Hifi has just been launched and is supposed to replace your bulky old Hifi separates and speakers. I can't help feeling a little disappointed with the design which instead on being sleek and minimalist looks a little plain and boxy, in fact it reminds me of an alarm clock radion I used to have in the eighties.

The World's Best Smoothies


I love smoothies, they taste great and they are good for you. The best smoothies in the UK are made my Innocent, my favourite one is the pineapple and coconut drink which is like a lovely non alcoholic pina colada. Their best selling drink though is banana and strawberries which they have just updated the recipe for - now they are even fruitier with three more strawberries in every bottle.
